Taxes are a necessary part of every community in order to have public facilities, roads, bridges, and protection (fire, health, ambulance). The County Collector is responsible for the collection of current and delinquent property taxes for the county and various political subdivisions within the County.  This is a countywide elected position for a term of four years.  Our goal at the Johnson County Collector's office is to serve the citizens of Johnson County in a responsible and respectful way, by providing friendly, efficient, progressive and accountable services while fulfilling our obligation to follow the laws of the State of Missouri.
